    Minutes: Dr. Robinson questioned the student reassignment process and requested the number of students who submitted applications for reassignment to attend a new school. Dr. Robinson suggested line 95 be revised to read: race/ethnicity/free and reduced lunch. Mrs. Burdick suggested adding language to include No Child Left Behind legislation.

    I recommend the Board provide tentative approval of the recommendation to revise implementation until August 2007 of portions of boundary changes approved on January 11, 2006 for Berkshire, Cholee Lake and Melaleuca Elementary Schools.  - PASS
    Minutes: Dr. Robinson questioned the amount of students that will be reassigned from Cholee Lake Elementary to Berkshire Elementary. Mrs. Burdick requested consistency in allowing parents to speak to the Board after 5:00 p.m. to allow for working parents to attend.

    I recommend the Board approve Policy 1.11 - Wellness Promotion. - PASS
    Minutes: Dr. Robinson questioned the Wellness Promotion goals and objectives. Dr. Robinson requested the following language revisions: Line 76 - to the greatest extent possible; Line 117 - nutritional information be available on the outside of machines. Dr. Richmond stressed the importance of providing physical education for student’s everyday and questioned what measures are in place to assist students in dealing with stress. Mrs. Burdick thanked staff for all their hard work in developing this policy and suggested researching grant funding opportunities and what can be done on a daily basis to continuously improve what we provide to our children.
